Habitat for Humanity Sponsor
Duncan and Duncan home constructions takes great pride in the ability to be a sponsor for such an event as Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN World Habitat Day 2011. The theme of this event is "Housing cities after a disaster" a serious and growing problem around the world.
APSU Observatory
Duncan and Duncan constructed the building that would hold the new Austin Peay State University (APSU) Observatory. The telescope that is being used the by APSU has the same design as the one used by NASA's Hubble telescope.

Clarksville TN Extreme Makeover
Duncan and Duncan construction was selected as a featured home builder on the Academy Award winning ABC special Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. They had the pleasure to build a new home for the Scott family.
Our construction company worked around the clock with the assistance of many community volunteers and completed the home construction within 106 hours.
This home construction project started on a Sunday with the demolition of the Scott's old home. The R&B singer Usher was on hand the following Saturday to present the Scott family with their new home. Thanks to many contributors, the Scott family was able to destroy their old mortgage.
Trina Scott lost her husband Dave who was a Clarksville, TN Police Officer. Dave was killed in the line of duty in 2002. Trina would later become president of Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc (COPS) which is an organization that helps surviving family members of officers killed in the line of duty.
Trina was taking care of her three children, working and volunteering for C.O.P.S. which left little time to maintain her current home that had become infested with termites and water damage.
After Ty Pennington toured the Scott home, he made the decision to help Trina Scott and her three daughters on episode 713 of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
Duncan and Duncan constructed Trina's new home out of termite-resistant wood ensuring she and her family would never have to worry about termites ever again.
Some cool features in the new home:
The Dance Studio Room: Deidre the dancer got a room created with her in mind. Her desk and bed fold up to create plenty of space to dance on her hardwood floors. Usher broke the floor in for Deidre with some of his own unique dance moves.
The Hollywood Regency Room: Leyla the aspiring actress gets an old school Hollywood scene with gold curtains and features that motivate the aspiring actress.
The Coastal Room: Alethea can cast away in her room with a custom boat bed and walls that makes her feel like she is floating on a yacht in the ocean.
The Master Bedroom: Trina now has a room where she can get time away for herself. The bedroom is also separated from her office so she can completely relax.
